John 16:33"I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”
During our holiday preparations and celebrations we paused to celebrate Corinn's 7th Birthday! It is hard to believe that she is seven years old already and that she has been a part of our lives for more than six and a half years! In her life so far, Corinn has experienced joys and tribulations that many seven year olds have not yet experienced, and she has learned to know Jesus as her peace. She has learned to love when it is hard, inconvenient, and unpleasant, to forgive repeatedly, and to be gracious in the face of certain and ongoing offense. In all of these things she has learned to take heart - and she has taught me much about trusting in Jesus as He has overcome the world for us.
Corinn, we pray that God would continue to pour out His peace in your heart and that your peace would be found only in Him. It is our prayer that you would continue to take heart in Jesus, holding fast to Him as your Savior and Lord in all of your joys and trials.
