A phone call Saturday from my husband's very close friend got us rejoicing and praying and rejoicing and praying some more. This friend who is a world traveler (every continent), special education teacher, mission-minded man, Bible camp speaker and all-around adventurer is soon to be diving in to some big stuff: marriage and international adoption. There is no one I know that has a passion for adventure (!!!!) and heart for God's Word like this man does. I have always imagined him with a home full of children gathered from his trips around the world and the Lord has been preparing his heart and life through so many years of adventures. This dear friend has been an encouragement and blessing to us as we grew and grew and grew our family, even unconventionally. So, "Mr. Solar-system", if you are reading this, we are blessed to walk beside you as the Lord grows your family, even unconventionally. We consider it a joy to come alongside others diving in to this great journey.
