I am so thankful for my husband. He understands my heart for my children, my joys and struggles. There is such a sweetness in having a husband who understands and I do not want to take that for granted.
Today my husband took a vacation day to catch up on some things at home. He helped with our morning routine and brought the big girls to school. We just finished breakfast with the little kiddos and they are on their way now for a morning activity. On his way out the door he said, "I can't believe you do this by yourself every morning! When do you have time to get dressed or eat breakfast or even brush your teeth?"
It is so sweet of him to get a glimpse of and understand my morning routine with the kids. This is exactly why I get up with him each morning at 4:45 in order to squeeze in some time to talk together uninterrupted, get myself ready, prepare for the day, and have a bit of quiet time before I have to start waking kids up at 6:00. It does make for a long day, though. My husband leaves for work at 5:30, so he is gone before the chaos starts each morning, but I'm glad to know he understands and supports all that goes on each day at home.
Thankful today for a husband who understands and shares my heart...

This one brought tears to my eyes. How sweet of him to express what he saw. It would have been so easy for him to "get-it" but not share that with you. What a moment that must have been for you....both....
