The month of October has been a busy one, and we are still celebrating fall birthdays and visiting new places with our children! We were thankful to have the opportunity to visit Grandpa and Nana at their home on the lake before the lake freezes over so that Hugo and Maria can understand the large mass of ice with fish houses on it once winter arrives. We enjoyed an unseasonably warm weekend, played outside for hours, and continued the tradition of carving pumpkins with Grandpa.
We were so thankful to celebrate Maria's 14th birthday together with Grandpa and Nana, too. She is a joy and a delight and celebrating her life together was a blessing for us all.
Maria, it is our prayer that as you come to love Jesus that He would keep you steadfast in every trial, standing the tests of life, and receiving the crown of life and all that God has promised for those who love Him. We love you, Maria!
