Grace Upon Grace

John 1:16
And from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.

Our blogging absence has not only been due to our move to the forest house this summer, but moreover due to our quietly seeking God and waiting on Him as He made a way to bring two more precious Colombian children home to our Colombian Brewed through adoption. While our hearts were so very tender to adopt again, it was not the timing or plan we had originally envisioned, and yet God clearly opened every door and surprised us all with His goodness. We rejoice in His grace upon grace and joyfully welcome Hugo and Maria to our family.

Thank you to those of you who have waited quietly on the Lord with us and who have prayed and encouraged us as we seek to love these children. I may share more about this surprise journey in the future, but for now it is like a waterfall of grace upon grace pouring over us and we are quietly content to soak it up and rejoice with thanksgiving!

Flying home today. Our shortest adoption flight/trip yet.

Eagerly welcomed home by four who have prayed, waited, and rejoiced over their arrival.

The big girls sharing lots of giggles getting to know one another.
